Additional guests, children, local taxes
We charge €20 per night for each additional guest aged 1 year or over. We are happy to provide basic equipment for children, such as a cot and highchair, on request.
A local tax of €2.10 per person per night applies to all guests aged 14 and over. This tax is not included in the apartment price and has to be paid on site.
Minimum stay
A minimum stay 3 nights is required at Estate Gurtenhof.

Reservations and deposits
A deposit equivalent to 30% of the total booking amount must be paid by bank transfer upon booking. This deposit will be retained by the accommodation provider in the event of cancellation. The remaining balance is payable directly at the accommodation.
Cancellation policy
Although there is no right of withdrawal under the Consumer Protection Code, we offer the following cancellation terms:

For cancellations up to 70 days before arrival: 20% of the total booking amount

For cancellations up to 50 days before arrival: 30% of the total booking amount

For cancellations up to 40 days before arrival: 60% of the total amount booked

For cancellations up to 21 days before arrival: 90% of the total amount booked
-
For cancellations made within 20 days of arrival, 100% of the total amount booked will be charged.
Farm activities
Immerse yourself in the exciting history of Estate Gurtenhof on guided farm tours. Discover the surrounding area on group hikes or sit together with a glass of wine in the rustic Törggelen cellar and listen to stories about the land and its people. Your hosts will be happy to spend plenty of time with you. In summer, you can help with the organic apricot harvest to experience farm work first-hand.
Wellness and sauna
Our in-house alpine spa oasis features a sauna and a cosy relaxation room with hay beds, larch wood from our own forest and a wood-burning stove. The sauna can be used as either a Finnish or herbal sauna.
The wellness area is open free of charge every Tuesday evening (except in summer). If you would like to use this alpine spa oasis in summer or have exclusive use of the entire facility, this can be booked at an additional cost.
Farm shop & lounge
In the pantry. you can stock up on Sabine's homemade organic apricot jam, apple juice and wines from organic farms. The Katharina lounge, the historic Estate's lounge with its library and fireplace, offers cosy places to sit and browse.
Special features and advantages for families at Gurtenhof and the surrounding area
The holiday apartments can accommodate up to six people, depending on the apartment, and can be equipped with a cot and highchair on request. There is also a nostalgic children's playroom containing children's books, old school desks, and board games. The private garden is home to a nest swing.
There is plenty to experience around Gurtenhof: In summer, the whole family can enjoy free admission to Tesimo outdoor swimming pool. You can also follow exciting, themed trails, such as the Felt Art Trail in Tesimo or the nature trail in Prissiano or visit Rainguthof Animal Park in Gfrill.

South Tyrol Guest Pass
During your stay, you will receive a South Tyrol Guest Pass. With this pass, you can conveniently use all public transport in South Tyrol, including:

regional trains from Brennero to Trento and from Malles to San Candido

local buses (city buses, intercity buses)

public cable cars to Verano, Meltina, Renon and Colle

Renon narrow-gauge railway & the funicular railway to Mendola

PostBus Switzerland between Malles and Müstair
Guests staying in the Tesimo-Prissiano holiday region can also use the South Tyrol Guest Pass to take advantage of free bike transport between Lana, Foiana, Tesimo and the Palade Pass (Monday to Friday from May to the end of October).
You will receive the South Tyrol Guest Pass by email before your arrival. The ticket is digital. If you would prefer a printed copy, we will be happy to provide one on site.
Nearby shopping & restaurants
The village has everything you need: a bakery selling fresh bread and pastries is only 200 metres away, and a small general store selling regional produce is just 130 metres away.
Gourmands will be spoilt for choice in Tesimo, with a wide range of culinary delights on offer, from fine dining and traditional South Tyrolean cuisine to pizzerias and quaint wine taverns. Everything is within easy walking distance.

Holidays with dogs
Dogs are welcome in the Graf von Frankenberg and Andreas Hofer holiday apartments. Your four-legged friend can stay with you for €15 per night.
Numerous walking and hiking trails start right outside the Estate, ideal for long walks (insider tips available on site). Streams and ponds in the surrounding area ensure your dog can cool off along the way.
Dogs are also welcome at Tesimo outdoor swimming pool, where you can enter for free every day and our golden retriever, Lea, is looking forward to meeting new friends.
